Armani Group: First Report After Giorgio Armani Era Shows Revenue Decline and Profit Growth

21:31, May 4

Armani Group has released its long-awaited financial results for 2025, entering a complex transition period — both for the iconic fashion house and the broader luxury industry. The Italian brand reported a 2.8% decline in annual revenue, citing macroeconomic pressure and weakening global demand for high-end goods.

Notably, this marks the company’s first full-year financial disclosure following the passing of its visionary founder, Giorgio Armani, in September 2025.

For the 2025 financial year, Armani Group reported consolidated net revenues of €2.19 billion. Including income from licensing partners, the brand’s total turnover reached €4 billion. The 2.8% decline was largely driven by weaker performance in the wholesale channel, as well as ongoing shifts in the luxury market — particularly in more accessible segments — and slowing demand across Asian markets (with the exception of Japan).

Despite the drop in revenue, the privately held company demonstrated financial resilience. Thanks to strict cost control and a pragmatic operational approach, EBITDA increased by 3.2% year-on-year to €152.7 million. Operating profit also rose by 2%, reaching €52.6 million.

Commenting on market changes, Armani Group CEO Giuseppe Marsocci offered a measured outlook on the industry’s future. “We are facing a potential structural shift in how current and prospective consumers approach luxury and fashion, and this must be taken into account,” he said. He also confirmed that the previously announced strategy to sell a 15% stake in the company remains in place. While formal negotiations have not yet begun, major players such as LVMH, L’Oréal, and EssilorLuxottica are reportedly showing interest.

Entering 2026 with trends similar to the previous period, Armani Group is prioritizing long-term stability over short-term sales stimulation. Backed by steady profitability and a consistent development strategy, the brand maintains a strong position to navigate the uncertainties of the modern luxury market while continuing the legacy of its founder.
