Louis Vuitton has unveiled its Resort 2026 cruise collection, which feels like a bright, sun-drenched summer journey spanning the entire day — from surfing at sunrise to cocktails at sunset.
The brand describes the line as a playful, light-filled fantasy where haute couture meets a seaside escape, combining ease, relaxation, and the feeling of an endless summer.

The first part of the collection draws on surfer culture and sporty aesthetics. It features terry-knit sets, polo shirts, tie-dye T-shirts, and relaxed beach silhouettes. One of the standout pieces is an oversized jersey printed with a half-eaten ice lolly, adding a playful, ironic twist to the summer mood.

Accessories play a central role, as always for Louis Vuitton, and here they become a story of their own. The collection includes unusual statement pieces such as the Ace Ball — a leather object resembling a volleyball made from 18 Monogram panels — and the Bag-Alow, a bag inspired by California beach houses. These items function more like art objects, highlighting the brand’s experimental approach.

As the collection progresses, the mood shifts from sporty daytime ease to a more refined evening elegance. Silk fabrics with a soft sheen appear, alongside new versions of the Minigram bag in yellow and pink tones, designed for cocktail hours and sunset strolls.

The final section is dedicated to evening glamour. It features lingerie-inspired little black dresses, the beaded Capucines Sunbeam bag, woven basket bags, and rose-tinted sunglasses.

Together, they create a sense of relaxed yet sophisticated luxury — the essence of a summer night.
