Amazon founder and billionaire Jeff Bezos has assembled a powerhouse "dream team" of world-renowned architects and engineers to construct one of the most ambitious private estates in U.S. history.

According to the Daily Mail, the billionaire's new mega-mansion will sit on three consolidated waterfront parcels with a combined land value of $250 million. The property is located on Miami’s ultra-exclusive Indian Creek Island—a gated enclave long dubbed by the media as the "Billionaire Bunker."

Bezos' future ancestral home will be designed and built by firms typically associated with iconic skyscrapers, luxury resorts, and national museums.

Architects of Cosmic Proportions

The roster of contractors tapped for the top-secret build is staggering. These firms are the creative forces behind cultural landmarks like The Vessel in New York’s Hudson Yards, the futuristic Sphere in Las Vegas, and Apple’s flagship glass cube on Fifth Avenue.

One of the companies engineered the retractable roof over Wimbledon’s Centre Court, while another has even collaborated with NASA to develop conceptual blueprints for human colonies on Mars.

An army of highly specialized consultants will oversee every detail of the billionaire's lavish compound. The estate is slated to feature private home theaters, resort-style pools, and tropical landscaping intentionally designed to evoke the lush depths of the Amazon rainforest.

Decoding "Project Palm"

The new mega-estate will replace two neighboring mansions that Bezos purchased for a combined $147 million shortly after announcing his move to Florida in 2023.

While the media widely covered his acquisition of houses No. 11 and No. 12 on Indian Creek Road, the buyer of the adjacent vacant lot (Lot No. 9)—which changed hands last year for $105 million—remained heavily guarded.

However, unreleased planning documents obtained by the Daily Mail reveal that all three parcels are being consolidated into a single, massive 6-acre compound. In construction blueprints, the mega-project goes by the code name "Project Palm."

By all indications, this will be the most luxurious and technologically advanced residence on the entire ultra-exclusive island. Indian Creek features just 41 residential homes, its own private police force, and an invite-only golf course. Bezos’ neighbors include Tom Brady, David Guetta, Ivanka Trump, and Julio Iglesias.

Conversely, a source close to Bezos attempted to downplay the scale of the construction to journalists, stating: "There is one architect, one interior designer, and one landscape designer. The claims that something out of the ordinary is happening here are completely false. Those speculating simply don't know what they are talking about."

Who’s Building Bezos’ Future: The Big Names

Nevertheless, official planning documents speak for themselves. Here is the heavy-hitting contractor lineup for "Project Palm":

• Lead Architect: Studio Seilern Architects. The acclaimed London-based firm led by architect Christina Seilern specializes in concert halls, high-end hotels, and cutting-edge, sustainable residential architecture.

• Structural Engineer: Eckersley O’Callaghan. The British firm is celebrated for its highly complex structural glass facades on skyscrapers and tech campuses. They engineered the 32-foot glass pavilion entrance to Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue Apple Store and the carbon-fiber roof for the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino. The firm has also worked with NASA to design 3D-printable habitat pods for Mars.

• MEP Systems: ME Engineers. The company oversaw the $1 billion renovation of Madison Square Garden, the installation of the retractable roof at Wimbledon, and managed the acoustics and broadcast infrastructure for The Sphere in Las Vegas.

• Facade and Building Envelope: Heintges. The New York engineering giant designed the intricate copper honeycomb structure of The Vessel, the glazing for the World Trade Center Oculus transport hub, and the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago.

Jeff Bezos has yet to unveil final architectural renderings, and all involved companies have strictly refused to comment on the project, citing stringent non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)—standard practice for high-profile clients of this caliber.

Other prominent names tied to the project include interior design firm Zervudachi LLC, engineering company Langan, and the renowned Raymond Jungles studio (tasked with transforming the grounds into a lush tropical oasis). Meanwhile, RH Design Services, a firm typically known for styling private business jets, will oversee the ultra-luxury layout of the home theater.

Jeff Bezos and his 56-year-old wife, Lauren Sánchez, can personally monitor the massive construction site. The couple is currently living on the opposite side of the very same island; in April 2024, Bezos purchased house No. 28 in an off-market deal for $90 million.

As of mid-2026, Jeff Bezos ranks as the world's fourth-richest person, with a net worth hovering around $250 billion. His colossal real estate portfolio spans ranches in Texas to estates in Los Angeles, New York, Washington, D.C., and Hawaii.
