Jennifer Lopez has suffered another setback in her efforts to sell her $50 million Beverly Hills estate. According to TMZ, the deal collapsed after a prospective buyer had already placed a substantial deposit on the property.
The outlet reports that the buyer was a prominent entrepreneur in the technology and finance sectors, but for reasons that remain undisclosed, he ultimately walked away from the purchase.
Just days ago, it appeared that the long-running sale was finally nearing completion. The sprawling 46,000-square-foot estate, which Lopez and Ben Affleck purchased in 2023 for approximately $61 million, was put back on the market following their divorce.
The asking price has been reduced several times since the home was first listed. Initially offered for $68 million, the estate was eventually repriced at $50 million after multiple unsuccessful attempts to find a buyer.
The luxurious property features 12 bathrooms, a 100-seat private movie theater, a 30-seat dining room, and a dedicated glam room complete with a professional makeup and hairstyling area.
Following the finalization of her divorce from Affleck in early 2025, Lopez assumed full ownership of the mansion and continued searching for a buyer. With the latest deal now off the table, she will once again have to restart the sales process.
