Some attendees of the Chicago music festival Lollapalooza faced a wave of online hate after a scandalous video surfaced showing a crowd crowdsurfing with a suspicious bag, The Post reports.

"Passing a bag of pee through the crowd is not okay," captioned Instagram user @edmtrain on the clip, which has already garnered 177,000 views.

In the footage, filmed during one of the performances over the weekend in Grant Park, spectators can be seen passing around a cardboard box containing a plastic urine bag, very similar to those used in hospitals. The exact reason for the appearance of such a specific "portable toilet" remained off-camera, but apparently, the concertgoers came up with this method to avoid missing a performance just to visit the perpetually overcrowded portable restrooms.

Social media users were left utterly disgusted by what they saw:

• "What the actual f—k is wrong with people?" one commenter wrote.

• "That is a literal biohazard. Vile," another outraged user stated.

• "Ask your friend to hold your spot and go to the bathroom. You can't be doing this," another follower advised.

Many exercised their wit by renaming the festival "Lolla-pee-looza" (a play on the word pee), while someone else called the incident "diabolical."

• "Back in my day, we just pushed our way through the crowd to the bathroom and then made our way back like normal people," another user wrote. "This is wildly foul."

• "It’s genuinely sad that people ruin the festival experience. Grow up, guys. If you can't hold your bladder, stay home or wear a diaper."

It is worth noting that Lollapalooza (held in Chicago from July 30 to August 2 featuring stars like Olivia Dean, Charli XCX, and Tate McRae) was also marked by other unsanitary incidents. A post went viral on Reddit titled "Poopoopalooza," where an eyewitness shared how a girl relieved herself right on the ground in front of the Bud Light stage while waiting for John Summit to come on. "PLEASE do not poop in the crowd and on the floor in general! Never thought I’d have to explain this!!!!!!!" the author of the post pleaded.

Unfortunately, this wild trend is not limited to Lollapalooza. Previously, musicians have repeatedly urged fans to stop turning concert venues into toilets.
