Halle Berry is getting ready to turn 60, and judging by her latest photos, she has no intention of celebrating quietly. Ahead of her milestone birthday, the actress shared photos from her vacation in Fiji, where she posed in a striking black hand-crocheted dress.

Berry wore the figure-hugging dress with a plunging neckline without a bra, accessorizing the look with several gold chains, delicate hoop earrings and a leather handbag. She completed the outfit with a voluminous bob hairstyle and oversized black sunglasses.

Berry’s 60th year is shaping up to be a busy one. In February, she announced her engagement to her longtime partner, Van Hunt. The actress has two children: 18-year-old daughter Nahla, whom she shares with former partner Gabriel Aubry, and 12-year-old son Maceo-Robert, whom she shares with Olivier Martinez.

For now, with her milestone birthday just around the corner, Berry is enjoying her time in Fiji and turning vacation photos into yet another reminder that age in Hollywood has long since stopped being a reason to play it safe with fashion.
