Meghan Markle could return to film and television much sooner than expected. According to sources cited by Page Six, the Duchess is in discussions about a possible appearance in Season 3 of Netflix’s action-comedy series The Gentlemen, created by Guy Ritchie.

Insiders stressed that the talks are still at a very early stage. The project has not yet been officially renewed for a third season, while Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on September 3. The role Markle is reportedly interested in is being kept under wraps.

Markle rose to fame playing Rachel Zane on the legal drama Suits, appearing on the show from 2011 to 2018. She left acting after becoming engaged to Prince Harry.

The potential return to the screen comes amid another major development in the Sussexes’ lives: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly planning to return to the UK with their children, Archie and Lilibet, for an extended stay later this month. The couple’s children are also reportedly set to attend a British school.
