The latest controversy erupted while Rain was filming an episode of TMZ Inside the Ring.

Host Branson Quirk decided to confront her directly about her public claim that she has never had sex.

“She tells you she’s a virgin, and you believe her? Come on!” the journalist said.

That remark appeared to push the situation over the edge.

Rain, seemingly angered by the question, threatened to walk off the set. She then suddenly hurled her handbag in the journalist’s direction.

The unexpected move sent him flying from his chair, after which Rain left the filming location.

Meanwhile, Sophie Rain has been gradually shifting the direction of her career in recent months.

She has managed to turn the story surrounding her virginity into a powerful personal-branding tool, demonstrating that a content creator can make enormous sums of money without conforming to traditional expectations about what platforms such as OnlyFans are supposed to offer.

Rain is now also making a serious push into the modeling world.

In late May 2026, she made her official runway debut during Miami Swim Week, taking another step away from viral internet celebrity and toward a professional modeling career.

Just two months later, on July 27, she appeared at New York Swim Week. Rain walked the runway in looks from major brands, including SheDesigns and Colorsuper.
