Former OnlyFans Manager Calls Platform a “Bottomless Pit”: “Sexual Freedom Is a Lie”

15:17, September 7

Victoria Sinis, who previously ran an OnlyFans management agency in Australia, has publicly turned her back on the adult industry after returning to her Christian faith. She is now warning about the darker side of the business, describing modern “sexual freedom” as a lie that can leave both women and men with lives in ruins.

Victoria joined OnlyFans during the pandemic, hoping to improve her financial situation. Over time, her agency grew, but so did her inner discomfort and feelings of guilt.

The turning point came when she happened to attend a church service at the church she had gone to as a child. The pastor’s words, she says, “instantly resonated with her soul,” prompting her to rethink her life and permanently walk away from the pornography industry.

“We present sexual freedom as something positive, but in reality, it is something that destroys us... It makes people even more insecure about themselves,” Sinis says.

In her view, once people open the door to acting on every sexual desire, it becomes increasingly difficult to stop because there is no natural endpoint to the process.

The Impact on Men and Teenagers

Sinis stresses that she believes the platform is damaging not only to content creators but also to consumers. She argues that the multibillion-dollar industry deliberately exploits male vulnerabilities, drawing users into a cycle of digital dependency that can ultimately deepen loneliness, depression and an inability to build healthy relationships.

Victoria is particularly concerned about the influence of social media on younger generations. During talks at schools, she says she has encountered 15-year-old teenagers from affluent families who admire popular OnlyFans influencers simply because they appear to travel the world and enjoy glamorous lifestyles.

“Children are beginning to equate OnlyFans with happiness and travel, genuinely believing that it is the only way to live a good life,” she warns.

In Sinis’ view, OnlyFans is part of the sex industry and carries many of the same psychological consequences, trauma and risks associated with traditional prostitution or working in brothels.

In response to the criticism, an OnlyFans spokesperson told Fox News Digital that the platform was created to allow creators to maintain control over and monetize their own content. Since the service was founded in 2016, more than $30 billion has reportedly been paid out to creators worldwide, including more than $6 billion in 2025 alone.

Today, Victoria Sinis travels around the world speaking to parents and teenagers, challenging the myths surrounding easy money online and helping young women understand the potential consequences of working in the adult entertainment industry.
