A Silicon Valley tech executive has found herself at the center of attention after posting a list of her “non-negotiables” for a potential partner. Her blunt honesty sparked a wave of mockery and debate on social media.

Brooke LeBlanc, the head of tech company Corgi, addressed her nearly 37,000 followers on X on Friday with a question:

“Who wants to be the co-founder of the rest of my life?”

She then listed the qualities she believes her future partner should have. Among her non-negotiables are being “healthy and masculine,” “smart, funny and easygoing,” as well as “post-economic (but still hardworking).”

The man should be between 35 and 42 years old. He should also be “kind, generous and attentive” and be “on a healing journey.”

Brooke also admitted that she has a clear preference for men who work in tech. At the same time, her potential partner should not have children — although, she said, he must want children in the future.

LeBlanc’s post quickly went viral, racking up nearly 5 million views and attracting media attention while sparking heated debate about the realities of modern dating.

“I can’t imagine anything worse than being single and dating in San Francisco,” one X user wrote.

“And they say romance is dead,” another joked.

“Now everything has turned into a job posting from an HR recruiter,” another commenter remarked.

“Any man who fits this list is already married and wouldn’t be interested in a woman who posts an entire list of partner requirements on social media,” another user declared.

However, some people came to Brooke’s defense.

“Why is it acceptable for a man to say 24/7 that he wants a big butt and DDD-sized breasts, but when a woman says what she wants from a man to build a family, suddenly it becomes something unacceptable?” one user wrote in response to the viral post.

Another commenter observed: “At some point you realize that all single people have lists, while people who are happily in relationships think those lists are ridiculous.”

LeBlanc did not silently watch the criticism and responded to her detractors.

“God forbid a woman asks for what she wants,” she wrote. “Sorry, but I don’t want to date a loser!”

Later, Brooke emphasized that it was “years of relationship experience” that had prompted her to create such a list.

“Today I’m being cyberbullied so that one day I can become a financially independent hot mom,” she wrote ironically.
