Kylie Jenner has surprised fans by revealing the rather steamy fantasy novel she is currently reading.

The 29-year-old reality star shared a photo of A Court of Mist and Fury on her Instagram Stories.

The novel, which features explicit sexual scenes, is the second installment in Sarah J. Maas’ popular fantasy series A Court of Thorns and Roses.

Jenner also revealed that she was reading the first book in the series in a new vlog posted to her YouTube channel over the weekend.

Getting ready for bed, the star said: “I’m going to read my book now. I’m reading A Court of Thorns and Roses, and I have about 30 pages left in the first book.”

The A Court of Thorns and Roses series consists of five books and has sold more than 13 million copies worldwide.

The story follows Feyre Archeron, a young huntress who is drawn into a dangerous and magical world of faeries. There, she encounters the powerful High Lords Tamlin and Rhysand and finds herself caught up in events that threaten entire worlds.

Fans enthusiastically reacted to the star’s unexpected literary obsession.
