Billionaire Michael Dell has lashed out at online trolls who mocked his wife Susan’s appearance following her recent visit to the White House. Rather than focusing on the couple’s charitable initiative, social media users zeroed in on the 62-year-old wife of the Dell Technologies founder.
The 61-year-old businessman and his wife travelled to Washington to discuss a $6.25 billion donation. Through the initiative, approximately 25 million American children are expected to receive investment accounts funded with an initial deposit of $250. The programme is designed to help build savings that the children can access once they turn 18.

However, photographs and videos from the event quickly spread across social media, where some users began commenting on Susan’s appearance and speculating that she had undergone cosmetic procedures.
Conservative commentator Mike Cernovich came to her defence.
“The Dell family donated $7 billion directly to American children. And instead of being grateful, everyone is talking about the appearance of a 62-year-old woman,” he wrote on X.

Michael Dell himself shared several messages supporting his wife. One user said his sons had already received $250 in their accounts and pledged to support the billionaire’s family in return.
“It’s truly insane how mean and self-absorbed people can be,” another commenter wrote. A third urged people to leave Susan alone after his grandson received money through the programme.

Dell thanked those who had defended his wife and reposted their messages. Eric Trump, the US president’s son, also joined the criticism of the online abuse. He pointed out that the couple had committed $6.25 billion to accounts for 25 million children, helping them build savings for adulthood.
“I’m tired of this nonsense. Very few people have done more for charity. This is disgusting, and it needs to stop,” Dell wrote.
He also addressed his wife on behalf of what he described as the overwhelming majority of Americans.
“Susan, thank you! You are incredible!”

Michael and Susan met on a blind date in 1988, when Dell’s company was still in its early stages. They married a year later and went on to have four children. According to Forbes, Michael Dell’s personal fortune is approaching $300 billion.
