The Junior Eurovision 2026 contest has ended in Malta, with Armenia's representative Nare being declared the winner with the song Boo.

Armenia received 12 points from Cyprus and Albania in the jury vote, gaining 103 points.

Nare received 99 points in the viewer vote. Armenia gave its 12 points to Cyprus.

Nare is 13 years old. She attempted to participate in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest three times; despite previous setbacks, Nare mentioned in an interview with NEWS.am STYLE that she never gives up and always pursues her dreams. This year, Nare not only succeeded in winning the Armenian national selection but also captured the hearts of Eurovision fans.

Nare’s song, "Boo," is about overcoming one’s fears and moving forward.

The song was written by Lilit Navasardyan and Grigor Kyokchyan, with arrangements by Nick Egibyan. The music video and stage performance were directed by Artur Manukyan.

This marks Armenia’s third victory at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The first win occurred in 2010 with Vladimir Arzumanyan’s song "Mama," followed by Maléna’s victory in 2021 with the song "Qami," which brought the contest to Armenia for the second time.
