Sydney Sweeney has put her own spin on the iconic comedy Home Alone, doing so in her signature style: revealing outfits, playful scenes and a focus on sex appeal. In a new holiday campaign for her lingerie brand Syrn, the actress models lingerie and cropped tops, transforming familiar moments from the film into a provocative take on a Christmas classic.

In one shot, Sweeney recreates the famous shaving scene featuring Kevin McCallister. Just like Macaulay Culkin’s character, she applies shaving cream to her face, runs a razor over her chin, then slaps her cheeks and lets out a loud scream. But instead of wearing cosy pyjamas, the actress sports a bra and a cropped cardigan. The contrast between childhood movie nostalgia and her revealing look sets the tone for the entire shoot.

In other scenes, Sweeney poses with a white poodle, reacts to a knock at the door and settles in front of the television with a huge serving of ice cream. Familiar moments from the film take on a new meaning, as traditional Christmas cosiness gives way to a playful vision of at-home glamour.

The campaign continues the actress’s series of cinematic transformations. Sweeney previously drew inspiration from Cindy Lou Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas and characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas. This time, she has chosen one of the most recognisable Christmas comedies, giving it an adult wardrobe and a provocative twist.
