If a couple feels awkwardness in their sexual life, they need to talk, sexologist Vrezh Shahramanyan told NEWS.am STYLE in an interview.

There are some simple rules to follow, for example, it is better to start the talk not by complaining but with a positive note. Show an understanding and tact.

“Instead of saying ‘how many times should I tell you I hate this pose,’ say ‘darling let’s change the pose, as I no more like it,’ or subtly explain why you do not like it. While talking try to be show a maximum understanding and respect to the partner,” the expert said.

Another important element is never to compare to partner about any of your exes. No matter how worried you are, try to talk directly about the matter. Tell the partner what you like and what change you would like to have in your sexual life. Talk about your feelings and desires.

And finally, speak about the action and do not personalize the issue, and never forget to tell about positive sides of intimacy.
