Fans from Russia, Ukraine, Iran and Georgia came to Armenia for a long-awaited concert of System of a Down which is to start at 8p.m. in Armenia's capital city Yerevan.
“We have overcome long distances in order to take part in SOAD’s concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. It took us two days to come to Armenia by car, but this is nothing as we are the fans of System of a Down rock band,” Iranian fan said to NEWS.am STYLE correspondent.
Our correspondent also reports that now the fans are allowed to enter the Republic Square.
Earlier all the streets leading to Republic Square were closed and fans had gathered in the Shahumyan square. They were waiting for the police permission to go to the Republic Square, where world-known band has already held a rehearsal and now the final preparation activities are carried out.
