System of a Down’s two-hour-long concert has just finished. The fans greatly enjoyed their favourite musicians’ fantastic performances despite heavy rain.

During the concert band performed more than 30 songs including “Holy mountains”, “Jet pilot”, “Suiete-pee”, “Prison song”, “U-fig”, “Aerials”, “Soldier Side/intro”, “B.Y.O.B”, “I-E-A-I-A-E-O”, etc. Musicians cited some Armenian songs and poetry quotes in their performances. They even performed Armenian “Sardarapat” song.

Serj Tankian thanked fans for their warmness and support.

The concert was organized in the framework of “Wake Up the Souls” tour – a tour marking the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Even fans from Russia, Ukraine, Iran and Georgia came to Armenia for SOAD concert in the Republic Square which was crowded by thousands’ of fans.
