Armenian roots of Kardashians forgotten?
The American edition of GQ men’s magazine is being accused of racism. The fact is that the ranking compiled by the publication of the sexiest women of the XXI century, some participants have been included solely for the “ethnic beauty.” Thus, there appeared the “Hottest Indian Chick” (actress Freida Pinto), “China’s Hottest Chick” (actress Zhang Ziyi), and even “The sexiest pregnant Srilankan” (singer Mathangi Arulpragasam, known as MIA), while the actress Monica Bellucci has been called “the hottest Italian chick.”
According to NEWSru.com, singer Beyonce has African-American roots, actress Mila Kunis has Ukrainian roots, while about the socialite of Armenian descent Kim Kardashian nothing at all was said... So, they entered the top-100 without any mention of their ancestry.
Critics are outraged that GQ finds attractive these and some other women only because of their ethnicity.
