The Los Angeles premiere of The Promise, a movie about Armenian Genocide, was held Wednesday.
The event brought together the actors that played major roles in this film, as well as American Armenian celebrities Kim and sister Khloé Kardashian, Cher, Serj Tankian and other celebrities.
We learned through Instagram that American-Armenian internet entrepreneur, co-founder of Reddit social news website, Alexis Ohanian also attended the premiere of Armenian Genocide movie, The Promise.
“So honored to #KeepThePromise here at the LA premiere with one of my heroes, my grandfather John Ohanian--95 years young and walked the red carpet with me like a boss. May our people continue to thrive all over the world. They failed to annihilate us and they will never silence us.
Hopefully this epic film brings more awareness to (and recognition for) the #ArmenianGenocide. ? AMAMAM Thank you for bringing our story to the big screen in grand fashion, Kirk,” he wrote on his Instagram account.
