New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art is reportedly set to open a major retrospective dedicated to Karl Lagerfeld in 2022, Harpers’ Bazaar reported. 

The head curator of the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute, Andrew Bolton, is already working on the preparation of the retrospective, which is scheduled for 2022, sources close to the institution told WWD. Other details are kept secret.

Karl Lagerfeld passed away on February 2019. For the past decades, he has been the permanent creative director of Chanel and Fendi fashion houses and has also led the brand name, Karl Lagerfeld.
