The second-day results in the “New Wave 2013” Song Contest, which is held in Jūrmala, Latvia, were announced on Friday morning.   

And the best result was achieved by Armenia’s representative Meri Mnjoyan, who is the winner of the Armenian “Voice” television project. On the second day of the contest, Mnjoyan performed a duet with Erik Karapetyan.

The duo performed “Your Traces” (in Russian) by great Armenian composer, dear departed Arno Babajanyan, and scored 120 points. The audience applauded Meri and Erik for a long time. Meri Mnjoyan has a total of 234 points after two days, and she is among the contest leaders.
