Activists in Hong Kong, Thailand, and Taiwan are calling for a boycott of the premiere of Disney's Mulan and are promoting the #BoycottMulan tag on the social media following actress Liu Yifei's support over the Hong Kong police.

Liu shared a message on Weibo that read “I support Hong Kong’s police, you can beat me up now,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. Liu added on Weibo in English, “What a shame for Hong Kong.”
