American actor and director Will Smith took part in the Pod Save America podcast and said that he was thinking over running for political office.

"I think for now I’ll let that office get cleaned up a little bit and then I’ll consider that at some point down the line," Smith, 52, said on the "Pod Save America Podcast."

This is not the first time that the Men in Black star has declared his political ambitions. Five years ago, in an interview at CBS, the artist said that he might run for the presidency of the United States.

Last year, the actor supported anti-racist protests in the United States. He also admired the modern generation who came together to solve this problem.

"Fortunately for my psyche, I've never been called N-word by a smart person. So I grew up with the impression that racists and racism are stupid and they are easy to get around, I just had to be smarter," he shared.
