During the last London week of fashion, the British organization Fashion Scout and Fashion and Designer Chamber Armenia (FDCA) collaborated on a digital project, presenting six young designers, Vogue Italia reported.
The designers had the opportunity to display their collections in see-now-buy-now format, enlarging their global network.
The project, called “Supporting SME’s and Creating Sustainable Ecosystem for Armenian Textile Industry” “to support and create a sustainable ecosystem for the Armenian textile industry” was initiated by the FDCA with the invaluable support of the UK’s Good Governance Fund (GFF).
Vogue Talents presented three promising Armenian designers.
RUZANĒ:
The brand was created in 2016 by Ruzanna Vardanyan as a declaration of femininity and style.
“We tend to be strong and fearless, but it’s not about physical strength, our power is our femininity,” explained the designer. The latest collection harks back to how society uses this power in response to humanity’s major challenges. The label creates timeless pieces made with refined fabrics, enhancing quality.
Nelly Serobyan:
Designer Nelly Serobyan's work is based on trust, independence, and tradition. The minimalist wardrobe emphasizes the individuality of the woman.
LOOM Weaving:
Founded in 2014 by Inga Manukyan, the brand offers the evolution of the modern wardrobe, combining the concept of practical clothing with attention to detail, which is typical of the fabric.
