Michelle Obama said that it was not a complete surprise for her to hear Meghan Markle speak in detail about the alleged racism in the British royal family.
Referring to a sensational interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry with Oprah Winfrey, Obama hopes that they will be able to find clarity, love, and resolve the situation after the interview.
The ex-first lady urged Harry and Meghan to forgive the royal family after the allegations of racism and bullying.
“My hope is that, when I think about what they’re going through, I think about the importance of family, and I just pray that there is forgiveness, and there is clarity and love and resolve at some point in time,” Obama told Access Hollywood.
“Because there’s nothing more important than family,” Obama said.
