Prince Harry was appointed a tech executive of the American startup BetterUp from Silicon Valley.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the company is engaged in coaching and psychological counseling.
The Duke of Sussex will help shape product development strategies, be responsible for charitable contributions, and give public talks on the importance of mental health care. Prince Harry has been exempted from personnel management and financial reporting.
“I realize I’m an outlier so there’s no need to get the engineers on it!” he told the Wall Street Journal, adding, “I was matched with my coach who, quite frankly, is truly awesome and has always given me sound advice and a fresh perspective, which is so valuable.”
