British actor Paul Ritter, who played in Harry Potter and Chernobyl, died from cancer aged 55, The Guardian reported referring to the actor's representative.
According to the agent, Ritter died peacefully at home on the night of April 6 next to his wife and sons.
Robert Popper, the creator of the sitcom for which Ritter is best known, shared his thoughts saying: “Devastated at this terribly sad news. Paul was a lovely, wonderful human being. Kind, funny, super caring and the greatest actor I ever worked with.”
Paul Ritter made his film debut in 1992.
