The Queen’s eldest grandson Peter Phillips and wife Autumn have separated following 12 years of marriage, The Daily Mail reports.
A statement, released by a spokesperson on behalf of the couple today, said: “Mr Peter Phillips and Mrs Autumn Phillips are pleased to be able to report that the financial aspects of their divorce have been resolved through agreement, the terms of which have been approved and ordered by the High Court today.
Whilst this is a sad day for Peter and Autumn, they continue to put the wellbeing of their wonderful daughters Savannah and Isla first and foremost.”
The couple had announced their divorce in February of last year, but officially separated now. The reason for separation is unclear. The only thing that is clear is that the couple decided to separate through an agreement and for their two children and ongoing friendship, The Daily Mail reports.
The couple tied the knot in 2008 and have two children, 10-year-old Savannah and 9-year-old Isla.
