Meghan Markle is creating animated series
British Prince Harry's wife Meghan Markle will be the executive producer of the Netflix animated series, tentatively titled Pearl.
Pearl is the name of the main character.
According to Archewell Productions, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex production company, the series will tell the story of a 12-year-old girl who like many girls of her age, is on the path of self-discovery, trying to overcome everyday life challenges.
The main character will be inspired by the example of influential women of the past.
The executive producers will be Meghan herself and David Furnish, a filmmaker, producer, and husband of singer Elton John, who has a long-standing friendship with Prince Harry.
