Singer, musician Hayko (Hayk Hakobyan) who was in the hospital for the last few days, has died aged 48.
The Armenian Honored Artist was hospitalized a few days ago over health problems amid COVID-19.
In 2007, the singer represented Armenia in the Eurovision song contest with the song "Anytime you need", taking eighth place. He has written music for a number of films including Do Not Be Afraid, The Killed Dove, The Diary of a Cross-Stealer, and others.
In 2007, 2010, and 2011, he was named Composer of the Year.
