Yerevan holds pre-Halloween party (PHOTOS)

15:45, October 28

YEREVAN. – Halloween, or All Hallows’ Eve, is a yearly celebration observed in a number of countries on October 31.

According to many scholars, All Hallows’ Eve is a Christianized feast initially influenced by Celtic harvest festivals, with possible pagan roots, in modern-day Ireland.

Although Halloween is not formally observed in Armenia, the country’s youth have begun celebrating this event fairly actively in recent times.

As case in point, a pre-Halloween party was thrown at a club in capital city Yerevan.
