In this release, Cruz shared that he plans to pursue a music career. According to him, as a child he was fascinated by the group Spice Girls, which his mother was a member of, but later he decided to follow in his father's footsteps and take up soccer. However, now, even despite tempting offers from sports clubs, Cruz intends to return to music.

In a video for I-D, Beckham Jr. wasn't even shy about asking the singer out: "Billy, you know where I'm at!" The star hasn't responded publicly to the suggestion yet.
