The International Emmy Awards, which recognizes the best television programs created and broadcast outside the United States, decided to exclude from all projects created by or jointly with Russian companies, Interfax reported.

“In support of Ukraine, the Executive Committee of the International Academy has decided to exclude all programs from Russia from this year’s International Emmy Awards,” the International Academy said in a statement.

Thus, as the organizers specified, all programs created by and/or with Russian companies, as well as all programs originally created for Russian channels or streaming platforms will not be allowed to participate.
