Khloe Kardashian's best friend Malika Haqq, 39, has shared how the star has been coping since Tristan Thompson's infidelity was exposed, the Daily Mail reported.
Malika appeared as a guest on an episode of Carlos Kings' podcast, Reality with The King, where she spoke about her long friendship with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.
When asked by The King how Khloe is on a “personal level considering the whole Tristan thing,” Malika admitted she “is doing about as well as you could expect,” adding that she feels her friend's “glory times” have “been stripped from her.”
The interview comes just weeks after Khloe welcomed her second child with NBA player Tristan, via surrogate.
The on-and-off couple announced in July they were expecting their second child, just months after their last breakup.
Their split was featured in the last few episodes of their Hulu series The Kardashians, when Kim discovered DailyMail.com's report about Tristan's paternity scandal with another woman.
Giving an update on her friend, Malika said: “I think she's doing about as well as you could expect for someone in her circumstances.”
Malika continued with how Kardashian is “not the first woman to ever endure adversity in a relationship or be forgiving.”
“There are some glory times that are really meant to just be glory times. And some of that has been stripped from her, and it's sad, but she really is one of the strongest people I know.”
She also spoke up about how Khloe has a great deal of faith considering everything that has happened to her.
“She's got a good head on her shoulders. Faith is something else, and she's got a great deal of it. I'll tell you that much. 'Cause, this ain't easy. It's not easy for me to watch, so I know it's not easy for her.”
Malika also said during her podcast interview that she has no problem with confronting a man who does her friend Khloe wrong.
She continued with “Family is so important to both of us, It's not the same when it's just you. We have these kids now. We have these babies, and their fathers are very intricate portions of their lives, and they're good fathers.”
Malika shares her 2 year old son, Ace Flores, with her ex-boyfriend rapper O.T Genasis.
“What happens with the moms and the spouses, we can all sit here and say some s--- should never happen, but it does. And I think that's when you have to continue to remind yourself of who the priority is, and it's these babies,” Malika said.
Khloe and Tristan have had an on-and-off relationship since 2016, and they welcomed their child True, in 2018.
Tristan is also a father to son Prince, 5, with his ex Jordan Craig, and son Theo, 8 months, with Maralee Nichols.
