Canadian singer Avril Lavigne got her own star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood, Fox News reports.

The singer was supported by her fiancé Derek Ryan Smith and friends Machine Gun Kelly, Joel Madden and others.

The groundbreaking ceremony took place on Wednesday. The artist admitted that her dream of getting a star had come true. She first visited Los Angeles and Hollywood when she was 16. She brought the memorable shot with her, too.

"I feel very blessed and grateful and I'm happy to be making music still today," Lavigne shared her emotions.
