Comedian Chris Rock has publicly commented for the first time on an apology video from actor Will Smith, who slapped him during the Academy Awards 2022, Deadline writes.
During an appearance at London's O2 Arena with Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock explained that he didn't like the commercial as in his opinion, the actor made himself look like a victim in it.
"F*ck your hostage video. Yes that sh*t hurt. He played Ali. I can’t even play Floyd Mayweather," Rock stated.
By the way, Suge Smith is a reference to producer Suge Knight, who in 2018 was sentenced to 28 years in prison for manslaughter.
Chappelle added that Will Smith gave the impression of a perfect man for 30 years and then tore off his mask and revealed that he was as ugly as the others.
