George Martin names his favorite scene in 'House of the Dragon'

11:33, November 2

The author of "A Song of Ice and Fire," writer George Martin, spoke about his favorite moment in the "House of the Dragon" series.

Responding to questions from fans of his work, Martin, without much hesitation, singled out the battle between Aemond and Lucerys on their dragons in the first season finale and noted that he would love to "watch the Battle above the Gods Eye."

All the dragon battles depicted in the literary source material, the Battle of Gods Eye may definitely be the most impressive on screen. The book describes the roar of the dragons as being so loud that it could be heard a dozen miles away, and the dragon flames were so bright that ordinary people feared the whole sky was on fire.
