British artist Banksy accused Guess of misusing his work in social networks. An image of Banksy's graffiti appeared in the window of one of the brand's boutiques, Hypebeast reported.
Banksy posted a photo of a store located on Regent Street in London. He urged shoplifters to visit the boutique.
'Banksy loses the copyright war (because he wants to remain anonymous in order to keep making impactful art), so on his website it clearly says: use these images any way you way personally, but do not use them commercially. Commercial use can make it seem that Banksy endorses or is involved with that brand, which is his choice,' the artist said.
