Belgian designer Raf Simons is closing his own brand. It is announced in the social networks of Raf Simons company. The spring-summer 2023 collection, whose show was held in London, was the last for the brand.
“I lack the words to share how proud I am of all that we have achieved,” he wrote. “Thank you all, for believing in our vision and for believing in me.”
Simons concluded by thanking for believing in his vision and himself. Raf Simons was launched in 1995.
The designer went on to develop it, working for major brands including Jil Sander, Dior and Calvin Klein. In 2020, Raf re-released about 100 iconic pieces to celebrate the brand's 25th anniversary. Now he will only continue to work as Prada's creative director along with Miuccia Prada.
