Harper's Bazaar has included the work "Sorry, Bro" by American Armenian writer Taleen Voskuni's in the list of 24 best romance novels that must be read.
The novel tells about the love story of the main character, Nareh Bedrossian. “After Nareh Bedrossian turns down her non-Armenian boyfriend's marriage proposal, she immerses herself in San Francisco's Armenian community (at the urging of her mother, who's pointed out plenty of potential suitors). But it's a new friendship with an Armenian woman named Erebuni that makes Nareh's heart flutter—and leads her to embrace parts of her identity she hadn't before,” reads the Harper's Bazaar article.
Taleen Voskuni grew up in San Francisco, surrounded by a rich Armenian community and her warm family. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA in English and currently lives in San Francisco working in technology. In addition to her new obsession with writing novels, she spends her free time with her children and gardening. Sorry, Bro is Voskuni's first published novel.
