Germany princess becomes first aristocrat to pose for Playboy cover

21:31, February 9

This princess doesn't care about royal scandals. Xenia Florence Gabriela Sophie Iris, the Princess of Saxony—in Germany, has become the first aristocrat to appear on the cover of Playboy.

Xenia, 37, stripped off for the cover of Germany's March 2024 issue of Playboy, and the magazine's inside spread is as racy as it gets. She is wearing a white bathing suit with the top down and the crotch clasps undone. She poses also topless by the pool, with the model's only item of clothing being a sheer skirt with waist-length slits.

At the same time, the princess admitted that she would be “surprised” if her family members purchased the magazine, but hoped that “they would at least be tolerant.”  Xenia is confident that her noble ancestors, including her great-great-great-grandfather and last king of Saxony, Frederick Augustus III, would “definitely approve” of her latest performance.

Although Germany has not had an active royal family or monarch since the end of World War I, the country does have several noble houses that at some point ruled one or more of the German states.

“You don’t have to conform to trends or have surgery on your body just to please someone,” the socialite said. "I have stretch marks and I'm proud to show them off."  Xenia spoke also about some of the "body stigma" she encountered while working in television. "On some reality shows, I was the only one who didn't do anything to my body," said the princess, who currently stars on Real Celebrities, Real Life.
