Actor, comedian and writer Vahe Berberian has published on Instagram an archival photo of his grandfather who was a victim of the Armenian Genocide, noting that it is the only memory he has of him.

"This is the only picture I possess of my grandfather, who taught in the village of Dzak. In 1914, like all the men in his village, he was taken away by the Turkish army. The only relatives remaining from my father's side were my grandmother, Mariam, and my father, Raffi, who was just one year old during the Armenian Genocide.
Today, as on every April 24th, I will light a candle to renew my solemn promise to keep their memory alive," the actor writes.
