"Today is Armenian Genocide memorial day. Many would want us to accept this never really happened, but it did. My great grandparents were victims of this terrible genocide. I’m here to tell you, that the powers to be are trying to wipe out all genocide existence from our history. This will never happen. “Those who forget the past, are sure to repeat it” wake up world. Ours already did!" he wrote.
The Armenian genocide was the systematic destruction of the Armenian people and identity by the Ottoman Empire during World War I. Spearheaded by the ruling Committee of Union and Progress (CUP), it was implemented primarily through the mass murder of around one million Armenians during death marches to the Syrian Desert and the forced Islamization of others, primarily women and children.
