Britney Spears wants to forgive those who caused her 'nerve damage'

10:17, May 23

Britney Spears has once again spoken candidly about her health problems. The 42-year-old singer said in a now-deleted Instagram post that she wants to forgive the people who caused her "nerve damage" that is so severe that she "can't even think sometimes."

“There was a time when I was kept in a certain place against my will for a very long time,” she wrote, potentially referring to her time in the conservatorship, which ended in November 2021. “I have changed since then,” Spears continued.

She noted that many people "don't know what her body has physically gone through." The singer said her “extremely deep” trauma “will probably stay with her forever.” Britney said she has learned to deal with it by doing "the best she can" and understanding that "it's okay to be upset or not okay sometimes," but "I don't feel like the world let me do that."

“I need to become a bigger person and forgive my parents... but it's very hard!!! “I will do my best to let it go and not let others down with my anger,” Spears concluded.

News of the singer's nerve damage comes shortly after she revealed she broke her leg during a widely reported incident at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on May 2. The singer told her fans online that she fell while dancing at a Hollywood hotel.
