This year, the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) international wine competition once again showcased the outstanding achievements of winemakers from around the world. And Armenian wineries, participating in this prestigious event, confirmed their skill and quality of products.

According to the results of this competition, Armenian wines won 4 silver and 9 bronze medals, which indicates the growing authority of Armenian winemaking in the international arena and the efforts of local producers to create world-class wines.

The winners were the Khachen Wines, Alexandrea Winery, Armenia Wine Company, and Voskevaz wineries.

The silver medalists were Chardonnay Alexandrea Winery, Takar Reserve Armenia Wine Factory, Karasi Collection Areni Noir Voskevaz, and Reserve Red Voskevaz

And the bronze medalists were Areni Reserve Khachen, White Cuve Alexandrea Winery, Armenia Red Armenia Wine Company, Armenia White Armenia Wine Company, Takar Areni Armenia Wine Factory, Tariri Reserve Armenia Wine Factory, Tariri Karasum Armenia Wine Company, Tariri Karasum Red, and Tariri Areni-Merlot-Cabarnet Sauvignon

These medals won at the Decanter 2024 competition once again highlight the fact that the uniqueness and quality of Armenian wines has increased the quality of production, and their distinctiveness has become distinguished and recognized among the already internationally established wine regions.
