Serena Williams has tried to fit into a Valentino denim skirt again as she continued to share her postpartum fitness journey with fans. Just two months after failing to fit into a stylish skirt, the 42-year-old retired tennis superstar gave it another chance in a new Instagram video.

“Okay, denim skirt. Paris was fun, but I need to see if I can fit into this skirt - let's pray...,” she wrote. “I haven’t tried it on since last time. So let's see what's going on here. Let's pray. If it doesn’t work out, don’t be negative.” In the end, Serena proved that she was one step closer to her weight loss goal as she managed to successfully pull up her skirt this time, although she still couldn't get the zipper up. 

The athlete was pleased with her progress and told fans: "We don't have such a big problem now, but we still have a small problem." “I might have to try again in a few weeks,” the star added, saying the skirt was “a little tight” and she couldn’t breathe in it.

“I might have to make another video.” Also, Serena thanked fans for joining her on a "long" and "difficult journey" and added: "We've made a lot of progress." Meanwhile, fans and followers praised her figure and advised Serena to just buy a new skirt. “Throw away that skirt and buy a new one because your body is perfect,” one wrote.
