Kourtney Kardashian's oldest son, Mason Disick, has decided to move out of his mother's home, Life & Style reports. According to a source, Kourtney is devastated by her strained relationship with her eldest son following his decision to move out of her home.

"She's heartbroken about it. While Kourtney is giving Mason space to process his feelings, she ultimately blames Scott (the boy's father, Scott Disick)."

"Scott always tries to be the cool dad," the source shares. "The kids can eat as much sugar and junk food as they want [at his house], and they can stay up as long as they want and watch whatever they want. [He] buys them whatever they ask for. No wonder they love coming to his house."

Mason was absent during a trip to Australia, where Kourtney and the kids went on tour with her husband, Travis Barker.

“People have told her that it’s just a natural part of life and that Mason will come back to her once he makes up his mind, but it still hurts,” the source admits. “Kourtney is doing her best to accept the fact that Mason has chosen to be with Scott right now. She says it’s because he’s a teenager who needs his dad, but it’s not easy.”

The tension between Scott and Travis has also taken a toll on the kids, according to the source. Before Kourtney became romantically involved with the drummer, she and Scott still spent a lot of time together, but that all changed when Travis came along.

“Of course, the kids were hoping that Kourtney and Scott would eventually get back together,” the insider explains. “It was incredibly hard for them to understand that Kourtney wouldn’t end up with their dad.”

In recent years, Mason has kept out of the spotlight, choosing not to appear on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, like his younger siblings.
