Who is the real winner of the 2024 Paris Olympics? It is Snoop Dogg. The 52-year-old rapper, whose real name Calvin Broadus Jr., has thrown himself into his job as a special correspondent for NBC—but it doesn’t come cheap, Robb Report writes.

New York venture capitalist Henry L. McNamara took to social media to share what he’s heard about Snoop Dogg’s supposed six-figure salary.

He says an NBC executive told him over dinner that Snoop Dogg “gets $500,000 a day plus Olympic promotion expenses.”

Even though the hosting gig is short-term, the rapper could make about $9 million if he stays for the full 17 days of the Olympics.

Snoop Dogg kicked off his Olympic festivities by carrying the torch through the streets of Saint-Denis during the opening ceremony. The hip-hop icon continued to make headlines throughout the Games, like when he was spotted dancing with the US women’s gymnastics team.

The music mogul has also been rocking gold-medal-worthy looks while in town. Most recently, he and his best friend Martha Stewart broke the internet when they wore matching outfits to an equestrian event. He’s also sported red, white, and blue tracksuits, as well as custom creations like T-shirts featuring different athletes’ faces.
