Kim Kardashian's inner circle urges her to respond to Kanye West's controversial posts 'before it gets worse'

12:25, February 12

Kim Kardashian's silence following ex-husband Kanye West's recent controversial posts has reportedly caused tension in her relationship with Scott Disick.

Kanye, 47, deactivated his X account on Sunday after he posted a slew of anti-Semitic, homophobic and sexist slurs, as well as pornographic content.

Kim, 44, who has four children with the controversial rapper, has yet to publicly condemn his actions, and her and her family's silence has reportedly angered Scott, 41.

"Scott was raised Jewish, and the fact that Kim hasn't called out Kanye West's offensive anti-Semitic comments is infuriating to him," a source told DailyMail.com. "He's tired of Kanye and takes his attacks on the Jewish community as a personal affront."

Kourtney Kardashian's ex-husband Scott fears Kanye's behavior is setting a "terrible example" for his children.

"The fact that Kim hasn't said anything and no one else in the family has been upsetting Scott," the source continued. "As a father, he feels Kanye is setting a terrible example for his children, who are old enough to understand what's going on. Kim's silence speaks volumes."

A second source told DailyMail.com that those close to Kim are urging her to address the situation as soon as possible. "People close to Kim are trying to convince her to respond to Kanye's posts for the sake of her children and to get ahead of the situation before it gets any worse. If Kim continues to let things slide, it could get even worse. Something needs to be done, some kind of intervention, and many around her feel it would be best for everyone involved."
