"Daqueenation" is the song with which the winner of "Depi Evratesil 2020," Athena Manoukian, will compete this time. Whether or not she will represent Armenia in Eurovision again will become clear on February 16, during a major competition where 12 participants will vie for a spot in Eurovision 2025.

Athena Manoukian is set to perform as the 12th and final act of the evening. In a brief conversation with journalists, the Greek-Armenian singer discusses her song, the message she wants to convey, and her expectations for the Contest.

"Sometimes you just feel that the time has come, and to tell you the truth, I’ve had this song since 2020, after COVID started. I was always searching for the right time to release it, and I would only release it for Eurovision. So, everything has its timing," she says.

According to Athena, her song has a clear message that emphasizes the importance of hard work in shaping a person. "It has a strong message of relief, of overcoming different challenges, and never giving up. This song is like a journal for me, because my life has always been full of challenges, but instead of giving up, I was shaped into the person I am now."

The singer recalls that her life has always been filled with music, and from a very young age, she faced many challenges and obstacles.

"Despite the good or bad situations in my career, I never gave up on what I was destined to do. In this field, especially, you need connections and a lot of money to succeed because there is so much competition. When I started, I had no money, no one to help me, and no connections at all. I started from zero. So, I had to create everything by myself," she shares.

As for being the final entry of the show on February 16, Athena says it doesn't matter, as the number holds no significance for her. "I don’t think it matters. The only thing that matters is what you give to yourself first and what others receive."
